Global jewelry house Tiffany Korea announced on the 1st that it donated 100 million won to the Seungil Hope Foundation to build a Lou Gehrig Nursing Hospital. The Seungil Hope Foundation is a non-profit corporation co-chaired by Park Seung-il, former professional basketball coach of Ulsan Mobis, and singer Sean, and held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Lou Gehrig nursing hospital for patients with Lou Gehrig’s disease in December last year.

Co-CEO Seung-il Park was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2002 while working as a professional basketball coach at Mobis and is currently fighting the disease.
