National soccer team striker Lee Kang-in, who had a physical fight with captain Son Heung-min the day before the Asian Cup semifinal, will return home through Incheon Airport this afternoon.
Lee Kang-in, who scored in a league match against Montpellier yesterday, immediately headed home to join the national soccer team.
Lee Kang-in will not join the national soccer team’s call-up training today, but will move to his accommodation and meet with Son Heung-min and other teammates of the national team.
The Korea Football Association is considering Lee Kang-in reading an apology to the public before official training tomorrow.
