Klinsmann announces A-match roster, out of Lee Kang-in, Hwang Hee-chan

The roster for Klinsmann A-game is revealed… Hwang Hee-chan is in, replacing Lee Kang-in

Klinsmann, who is at home in the United States, has named a 25-man squad for next month’s European trials against Wales and Saudi Arabia.

Lee Kang-in was left out as he continues his rehabilitation from a thigh injury.

Goalkeeper Kim Jun-hong and defender Kim Ji-soo, who played at the U-20 World Cup, made their first appearances, while Son Heung-min, Kim Min-jae, Hwang Eui-jo and Cho Kyu-sung were included.

Hwang Hee-chan, who was substituted off with a thigh injury in a league match over the weekend, was included in the roster because his injury is not serious.

Klinsmann left out some national team players, including midfielders Baek Seung-ho and Jung Woo-young, out of consideration for the Hangzhou Asian Games squad.

Lee Dong-kyung, who recently returned to the K League and has been showing off his fiery left-footed shot, was included, while Lee Soon-min, who impressed in the K League All-Star Game against Atletico Madrid, made his first call-up to the A team.
