The Seoul city government said Monday it will launch an international tech exposition in October with an ambitious goal of turning the event into a platform similar to the influential tech trade show CES in the coming years.

The programs will consist of exhibitions, a Seoul smart city award ceremony, and international forums and conferences.

The exhibition hall will be divided into a “showroom” where participants can experience cutting-edge lifestyles inside a future city according to themes. 커뮤니티 The company exhibition will feature state-of-the-art technologies and products by companies in such sectors as mobility, health care, beauty and robotics.

Various international forums, including the Mayor’s Forum, Global Chief Digital Officer Forum and a conference to share the achievements of the smart city project, will also take place
