Suwon KT kicked off the 2023-2024 Korean Basketball Organization regular season with a win on the road .Behind a 20-point, five-rebound performance from Ha Yun-ki, KT defeated Changwon LG 71-66 in their first game of the season at Changwon Gymnasium on Nov. 21.It was the first win in the regular season for KT head coach Song Young-jin, who took over for the first time this season. KT lost forward Yang Hong-seok to LG before the season and had no major boosters due to the retirement of key players, but with quick offensive transitions and gritty play, the team battled back and forth with LG until the end.

With a slim 68-66 lead, KT’s Ha Yun-ki received a pass from Jung Sung-woo and scored two valuable points from under the basket with 47.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter .LG rallied but blew a chance to score with a turnover, and KT’s Ha Yoon-ki made one of two free throws with 13.5 seconds left to seal the win.

KT’s foreign player Paris Bass scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win. LG’s Yang Hong-seok, playing his first game of the season against his hometown team, did not live up to the expectations of LG fans, scoring just six points and grabbing 스포츠토토존 five rebounds.
