Lee Kang-in had a double celebration of being selected as the “Player of the Month” in August at the PSG Fan Club, which has 740,000 “followers.”

PSG announced on the 31st of last month (Korea time) on the team’s social media service (SNS) that “Lee Kang-in’s goal against Le Havre was selected as the goal of the month in August.”

PSG held a vote, but played only two matches in August. However, it scored a total of 10 goals as if it were the first place in France, and four of them were nominated, including Lee Kang-in’s opening goal.

The goals scored by Lee Kang-in, Bradley Barcola, Marco Asensio and Warren Zaire-Emery were each nominated, and after a total of 2,641 people voted, Lee Kang-in won 40.7% of the vote, making him the goal star of the month in August.

In his first game of the season, Lee Kang-in received a lot of spotlight as he shook the net with a left-footed shot 2 minutes and 04 seconds after kickoff.

Lee Kang-in contributed to a 4-1 victory by scoring the first goal in the opening round of the French League 1 of the 2024-2025 season between PSG and Le Havre at Stade Oscean in Le Havre, France, on the 17th of last month.

Lee Kang-in, who started as a right winger in the 4-3-3 type, fired a thunderous left-footed shot less than three minutes into the first half and scored to lead the team.

Lee Kang-in, who received Gonzalo Hamus’ pass, fired a left-footed shot from the right side of the penalty area, and the shot was slightly deflected off the opponent, but drew a pretty parabolic line, leading to PSG’s first goal of the season and Lee Kang-in’s first goal of the 2024-2025 season.

With Lee Kang-in’s early first goal, PSG started the game in a good mood, but later gave up the lead under the momentum of Le Havre. Hamus, who helped Lee Kang-in’s first goal in the 20th minute of the first half, was injured in his ankle and was replaced, and in the 3rd minute of the second half, he gave up an equalizer to Le Havre center back Gautier Lloris and shook.

The atmosphere seemed to fall over Le Havre, but PSG continued to tap the Le Havre goal centering on Lee Kang-in. Lee Kang-in was unlucky to hit the post in the 16th minute of the second half when a left footed shot from the left side of the penalty area hit the post.안전놀이터

Lee Kang-in, who missed multiple goals, was replaced by Usman Dembele after playing on the ground until the 26th minute of the second half and promised the next game. After Lee Kang-in’s absence, PSG scored the winning goal of Dembele’s header in the 40th minute of the second half, and Bradley Barcola’s additional goal a minute later. Finally, in the 45th minute of the second half, when Randal Colo Moani finished the penalty kick, the game ended with a 4-1 complete victory for PSG.
