The Kia Tigers of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) have completed a sweep of the NC Dinos thanks to Hwang Dong-ha’s five-inning complete game shutout.

The Tigers defeated the NC Dinos 7-2 in the regular season finale of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League at Changwon NC Park on April 18. With the win, Kia completed a three-game winning streak and a winning series to improve to 28-16-1 on the season.

Starting pitcher Hwang Dong-ha led the team with a strong performance. Hwang threw 98 pitches over five innings, allowing five hits (one home run), one walk, four strikeouts and two runs on five hits with four strikeouts to earn his first career win.
