I’ll give you Osimhen for 179 billion, Hvitsa, please

Napoli president tries to convince PSG to

Napoli seem to want to keep Hvitsa Kvarachelia even if they have to sell Victor Osimhen to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

According to Italy’s GFIN, “Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has gone to meet with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. De Laurentiis will try to convince the club to rekindle their interest in Kvarachelia by offering Osimhen for 120 million euros (about KRW 179 million),” reported GFIN.

PSG recently lost Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. Mbappe had been PSG’s ace so far this season. However, with the end of the season just around the corner, Mbappe opted not to sign a contract extension. PSG lost a key player to free agency.

A number of players have since been rumored to replace Mbappe. Osimhen and Kvarachelia were among them. Osimhen scored 26 goals in the Italian Serie A last season. It helped Napoli win their first league title in 33 years. This season, despite Napoli’s struggles, Osimhen has scored 15 league goals.

However, it’s unclear if he’ll still be playing for Napoli next season. PSG, Arsenal, Chelsea, and others have been rumored to be interested in him. PSG would be able to afford Ausimhen’s transfer fee, but the player’s preferred destination is the Premier League (PL).

This is why PSG have started to target Kvarachelia. Aside from PSG, Kvarachelia hasn’t been the subject of much transfer speculation. He joined Napoli ahead of last season, and in his debut season, he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 Serie A appearances, forming an 토토 attacking core with Osimhen as they won the title.

Kvarachelia has also done his part this season. In 34 Serie A games, he scored 11 goals and provided six assists. He’s more of a direct replacement for Mbappe than Osimhen, who prefers to play on the left flank.

However, unlike Osimhen, Napoli are keen to extend his contract. Kvarachelia’s contract expires in the summer of 2027.
