Gangwon FC scored a big win at home.

Gangwon defeated Incheon United 4-1 in the eighth round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon on Nov. 21. With three wins, three draws, and two losses, Gangwon jumped to fourth place with 12 points.

Gangwon started Yago, Lee Sang-heon, Yang Min-hyuk, Yoo In-soo, Kim Kang-guk, Kim Yi-seok, Yoon Seok-young, Lee Ki-hyuk, Kang Too-ji, Hwang Moon-ki, and Park Cheong-hyo (goalkeeper).

Incheon started with Gerso, Mugosa, Min Kyung-hyun, Park Seung-ho, Moon Ji-hwan, Lee Myung-joo, Choi Woo-jin, Kim Dong-min, 안전놀이터 Yonichi, Oh Ban-seok, and Min Sung-joon (goalkeeper).

Kangwon opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Yago found him near the left corner of the box and he took a low, quick shot with the opposite goal in sight.

Two minutes into first-half stoppage time, Gangwon added another goal.

Yago completed his multi-goal performance, connecting with an incoming pass from the left side with a non-stop shot from the front of the arc that rattled the net.

With the momentum swinging in their favor, Kangwon scored an early wedge goal just before halftime. Kim Yi-seok put his head on a cross from the right side and scored a header.

The first half ended with Kangwon leading 3-0.

Gangwon’s firepower would not be extinguished. Yago completed his hat trick in the eighth minute of the second half, pouncing on a ball that slipped through the crotch of an opposing defender and calmly finishing from the center of the box.

However, the gap would not be closed any further.

The match ended with a three-goal victory for Gangwon.
