Brandon Brandon left the mound after feeling discomfort

Doosan Bears’ foreign pitcher Brandon Brandon left the mound after feeling discomfort in the back of his left shoulder.

Brandon started the first game of a doubleheader against the Samsung Lions at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea, on March 23rd.

In the bottom of the third, Samsung put runners on second and third with back-to-back singles by Kang Min-ho and Jeon Byung-woo and a sacrifice bunt by pinch-hitter Kim Ji-chan. Doosan first baseman Yang Seok-hwan fielded Lee Jae-hyun’s grounder and threw home, allowing Kang Min-ho to score from third. 1-1.

With runners on first and third, Koo Ja-rook drew a walk to load the bases.
