
Doosan Bears’ foreign pitcher Brandon Brandon left the mound after feeling discomfort in the back of his left shoulder.
Brandon started the first game of a doubleheader against the Samsung Lions at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea, on March 23rd.
It was a good start. In the first inning, Brandon induced Kim Heon-gon to ground out to second base and then struck out Lee Jae-hyun and Koo Ja-rook in succession. Doosan first baseman Yang Seok-hwan fielded Lee Jae-hyun’s grounder and threw home, allowing Kang Min-ho to score from third. 1-1.
With runners on first and third, Koo Ja-rook drew a walk to load the bases.
