Award all achievements reflecting both commercial and first nation games.

John Dominelli, founder and CEO of NRT Technologies, received the 2019 Industrial Leadership and Outstanding Contribution Award. This was a special week because we brought an annual gathering of everyone in the Canadian gaming industry.

Those who have worked hard for the past 12 months have been honored to receive awards and to see their efforts pay off. Such motivation is enough to bring people the best and drive the local sector. Like any other year, this gave everyone what they deserved, featuring both commercial and tribal games.

The Canadian gaming industry awards ceremony was held within the line of the game summit, usually held in Edmonton, Alberta. An individual in the commercial casino sector receives an award for his sense of leadership as well as various ways to improve the Canadian gaming industry in general.

Twenty years ago, the awards held their first awards ceremony and its success has only grown since then. The coveted awards from many industry leadership and outstanding contribution awards this year went to John Dominelli, founder and CEO of NRT Technology.

He received this evaluation for his years of contributions to the gaming field and for the innovations he helped revitalize. Since the company was founded in 1993, he has been trying to bring new things to both the lottery and casino sectors. The company has set the tone for the entire industry with integrated ticket redemption and cash access kiosks and payment services.

Over the years, its influence has spread to ATM operators around the world, as well as offline casino venues and lottery retailers. The acquisition also boosted the overall success of NRT technology across five locations worldwide.

First Nation Members Back Awards
The First Nation, which oversees casino operations within the structure of the game summit, also had the opportunity to feel proud of their achievements. For the 10th consecutive year, the annual First Nation Game Awards raised the temperature and praised First Nation individuals directly involved in Canada’s casino sector. The First Nation Canada Games Community Service Awards marked the first category of the ceremony.

Tracy Aguanas received it for her ongoing efforts and years of improvement for Alexis Nakota Sioux First Nation. The first nation Canadian game lifetime achievement award was the second category highlighting achievements across tribal gaming sectors. John Blair Maureen was an individual received for decades of effort for a better day in the local casino sector.

First Nation Canada Gaming Awards Praise Industry-wide Outstanding Performance
The ceremony also included the first nation Canadian game staff of the year award, which was wrapped by Rob Comanda, and the first nation Canadian game leadership award, which was won by Lee Sekwakboom. Both are part of the casino lama resort structure.
